19TH C ELM & BEECH STOOL

A 19th Century Elm and Beech Wood Stool. With a well figured oval seat, and shaped open hand hold, standing on four slightly outward splayed legs, each with rounded shoulders, over concave collars, as the shaped legs taper to ring capped toes. The legs joined by off set shaped and tapered stretchers. Height 18 inches, 46cm. Width 15 inches, 38cm. Depth 12 inches, 31cm. Date circa 1850.
