A 19th Century fruitwood and pollard elm tavern chair, captain's chair, smoker's bow. The lyre-shaped arm rests with a raised and shaped back rest, supported by ring and baluster uprights. The generous saddled pollard elm seat raised on ring-turned legs, joined by stretchers. The underside of the seat with an interesting label.
H 31 inches; w 25 inches; d 22 inches.
