A 19th Century Mahogany Wine Cooler. The wine cooler with a rounded rim, and bolection underside, surrounding the body which tapers gently inward and downward to a concave and rounded moulding above the plinth base holding recessed brass castors, the flat corners mounted with well carved scrolling brackets decorated with hanging leaves. The sides with fielded panels within concave mouldings. The interior with lead lining and a central drainage plug. Date circa 1850. Height 20 inches, 51cm. Width 34 inches, 87cm.
