A 19th Century Mahogany Military Campaign Chest. The chest in two parts, the upper section of two short drawers and a deeper long drawer. The upper section locating on lugs to the lower section, comprising two long slightly graduated drawers. The drawers very well made, with excellent linings, dust catchers and centre rails. the whole with the original flush corner and edging straps, flush handles and drum locks. The chest raised up on rounded turned and tapered feet. Date circa 1850. Height 40 inches, 101cm. Width 39 inches, 98.5cm. Depth 18 inches, 45cm.Ref: 24155
