A 19th Century Rosewood Whatnot. The top with a raised frieze, swept downward toward the front, and edged by a rounded mould profile. The three tiers supported by ring turned and tapered columns, flanking fine turned and tapered spindles. The lower tier mounted with a drawer. The whole raised up on turned and tapered legs, finished with brass cup castors. Height 51 inches, 130cm. Width 19 1/4 inches, 49cm. Depth 17 1/2 inches, 44cm. Date circa 1840.
