A Mid 19th Century Rosewood Whatnot. With a finely turned baluster column arcade, over the three tiers, supported by turned, shaped and tapered columns. The third tier before a cupboard, the door with a recessed mould edged panel centre, opening with the original lock and key, and held within a continuation of the column supports. The cupboard over a mahogany lined drawer, opening with a pair of turned knob handles. The Whatnot raised up on cup and ringed turned tapering feet, finished with brass castors. Height 46 inches, 117cm Width 18 inches, 46cm Depth 15 3/4 inches, 40cm Circa 1840.
