A 19th Century Walnut ‘X’ Frame Stool. The seat (needing re-upholstery), held within an ogee mould surround, supported by an ‘X’ frame, the bobbin turnings tapering to tapered feet, the legs joined by a bobbin cross stretcher, finished to the ends with bulls eye paterae. Height 14 ½ inches, 37cm. Width 21 inches, 54cm. Depth 17 inches, 44cm. Date circa 1850.Ref:
