An Early 19th Century Yew and Elm High Chair. The chair with a yew wood hoop back and arms, enclosing two tiers of tapered spindles. The arms supported at the front with tapered and ring turned larger spindles. The elm set with saddle shaping above four ringed and tapered legs joined by circular stretchers. The high chair with a pull out ball finialed restraining bar, and an adjustable foot rest. Height 34 1/2 inches, 88cm. Width 17 1/2 inches, 44.5cm. Depth 17 inches, 43cm. Date c 1830.
