An Early 19th Century Mahogany Butlers Tray. The butlers tray with rounded ratchet hinged sides, the sides when raised forming a rectangular tray, and when flat an oval tray. The sides with shaped hand holds. The centre of the tray with four panels, held within broad rails. The tray standing on the folding tray. The square section legs joined by cross stretchers, and webbing to the top. Date circa 1800. Height with sides flat 31 inches, 79cm. Width with sides flat 33 3/4 inches, 86cm.
