An Early 19th Century Mahogany Cellarette. the rectangular lid, with generous vertical rails, finished with cockbeaded edge. The lid hinging open, with the original lock and key, to an open interior. The body with a cockbeaded top edge and pairs of brass plate carrying handles. the cellarette held on a plinth, finished with a rounded mould top edge, the whole lifted by circular rounded and concave feet. Date circa 1800. Height 18 1/2 inches, 47cm. Width 16 1/2 inches, 42cm. Depth 12 1/2 inches, 32cm.Ref:
