A Set of Edwardian Jockey Scales. The scales with a raised leather and studded seat, set on the mahogany platform, with a pair of handles to either end. The platform with the balance arm, complete with sliding weights for stone and pounds, weighing up to 19st 14lbs. The stand with a fluted frieze, centred by flower head paterae, joining the legs with flower head paterae, above tapering flutes, finished with spade feet. In good working order. Height 29 inches, 74cm. Width 26 inches, 66cm. Depth 14 inches, 36cm. Date c 1900.Ref: 21604
