An 18th Century Oak Low Boy. The side table with a shallow mould edge and rounded corners, above a frieze of one long drawer, and thence two shorter and deeper drawers, surrounding the arcaded centre. Each drawer with a cockbeaded edge, enclosing a walnut crossbanded border, and the original brass lattice and batswing plate handles. The body finished with scrolled open brackets, jointing the four legs. Each leg with a rounded channel mould outer corner, and a chamfered inner edge. Date circa 1760. Height 28 inches, 72cm. Width 30 inches, 76cm. Depth 17 1/2 inches, 44cm.
