A George III Butlers Tray. The 18th century mahogany butlers tray with a four panel centre, between bead edged rails, surrounded by hinged ratchet sides, forming a rectangular tray when raised and an oval tray when flat. The four sides each with a shaped hand hole. The tray on a folding stand, with good tapered and ring turned decoration. Very good dense timber throughout. Height 30 inches, 77cm to tray surface. Width of main body of tray 31 inches, 79cm. Depth of main body of tray 20 inches, 21cm. Date circa 1790.Ref: 22029
