A George III Mahogany Chest of Drawers. The well proportioned mid 18th century mahogany chest of drawers, the top with an ogee and stepped surround mould, above a cockbeaded brushing slide, opening on a pair of brass pulls, to the raised surface. The two short and three long graduated drawers likewise cockbeaded and mounted with pairs of swan neck and scrolled brass handles, and key hole inserts. The chest finished with a rounded and stepped mould, above the four bracket feet. Height 35 inches, 89cm. Width 36 1/2 inches, 93cm. Depth 18 1/2 inches, 47cm. Date circa 1760.Ref: 22040
