A George III Mahogany Dressing Mirror. The mirror with tapering upright supports, edged with line moulding, and topped by vase finials, holding the mirror frame, with an ogee shaping, sweeping into the leaf decorated gilt slips, enclosing the original bevelled edge plate. The body with a rounded mould outer edge, above a slightly concave frieze, set with one long drawer, flanking a pair of shorter drawers. The drawers with the original ring loop handles, and escutcheon plate, fronting the lock and key. The whole raised up on a rounded mould edge, as per the top edge, above bracket feet, centred by an arcaded repeat. Date circa 1760. Height 24 1/2 inches, 62cm. Width 17 1/2 inches, 46cm. Depth 8 1/4 inches, 21cm.
