The large 19th century Pedestal Cupboard, with a black slate octagonal cap, resting on the octagonal inward curved mouldings, above the fielded panels, each finished with a fine bead edge, and facing rails. The panels flanked by canted side pilasters, forming the octagonal body. The front opening as a door to a shelved interior. The body resting on an outward curved moulding, as per the top, and completed with a vertical plinth foot. The whole finished to every side, in well figured satinwood. Height, 35 inches, 89cm.
