A Late 18th Century Mahogany Sofa Table. The table with a rounded mould top, the centre element with cleated ends, finished with rule joints to the pair of drop leaves, finished with rounded corners. The frieze set with a pair of working cockbeaded drawers to one side and blind drawers to the reverse. The tapered square column supports finished to the top and bottom with mould edge blocks, from which sweep tapering legs, mounted with brass cap castors. Height 29 inches, 73.5cm. Width 39 3/4 inches, 101cm, leaves down. Depth 26 inches, 66cm. Date circa 1780.Ref: 22642
