A William IV Stool. The 19th century mahogany stool with a faded needlework seat, set upon ogee profile frieze rails, supported by an 'X' frame. The curved 'X' frame legs tapering upward and downward to scrolled leaves. The legs centred by bulls eye paterae, and joined by a ringed and tapered cross stretcher. Height 16 inches, 41cm. Width 18 inches, 46cm. Depth 18 inches, 46cm. Date c 1830.
