19TH C CUT GLASS JUG

A 19th Century Cut Glass Water Jug, Ewer. The broad spout with swept decoration to the underside to accentuate the spout shape. The shoulders cut with horizontal reeding, above the body with bold cross hatch decoration, tapering to the star burst base. The rounded handle with chamfer decoration. Date c 1850. Height 8 1/2 inches, width 7 1/2 inches, depth 5 1/2 inches.
