A Mid 19th Century Cut Glass Water Ewer or Jug, with a broad helmet shaped spout, cylindrical body and shaped handle. The whole jug cut with decoration of bands, lattice panels, chamfering edges, and a star cut base.
Height 7 1/2" Diameter 4 3/4" (not including handle)
Date c 1850
Antique glass is remarkably good value at the moment and it is also remarkable that items like this have survived!
