19TH C SILVER & GLASS HIP FLASK

A 19th Century Silver Hip Flask. The hip flask with a hinged button lid, closing on a screw and bayonet fixing. The top of the body within a silver cover, with a spirit window. The lower half of the body covered by a pull off cup. The whole hallmarked to each piece for Thomas Johnson, London 1876. Height 6 1/2 inches, 16cm. Width 3 3/4 inches, 9.5cm. Depth 1 1/2 inches, 3.5cm. Date 1876.
