A Group of Six Late 18th Century / Early 19th Century Wine Bottles ‘INNER TEMPLE’.


Each with a ring and chamfered spout rim, above a tall tapered neck, above rounded shoulders and a cylindrical body.  Each with a raised seal mark, titled ‘INNER TEMPLE’.  The undersides with a distinctly raised centre to throw sediment.  

These bottles were used in the Temple Hall refectory, which was demolished in 1868.


Height 11 ½ inches, diameter 3 ¾ inches
