A George III Glass Decanter. The decanter with a star burst reeded stopper, fitting within the broad rim of the decanter. The neck tapering downward and outwards, with bands of facet cut decoration, above the flute cut shoulders. The body gently tapering to a lower band of rising flutes. The underside with a polished pontil centre. Date circa 1800. Height 10 inches, 26cm. Diameter 4 1/2 inches, 12cm.Ref:
