A Large 19th Century Silver Plated Hip Flask. The flask with a ball top, rotating to secure a bayonet catch and hinged to the collar. The upper part of the glass body cased in Morocco leather, with a reveal to each side. The lower body cased in a gilt interior slide off cup. The collar and underside of the cup impressed with the makers marks. In excellent condition throughout. Date circa 1870. Height 6 1/2 inches, 17cm. Width 4 inches, 10cm. Depth 1 1/2 inches, 4cm.Ref:
