A Pair of 19th Century Cut Glass Vases and Covers. Each with a lift off cover. The covers with chamfer cut finial tops, spreading to the bell shaped bodies with rounded edges, surrounding an inner rim. The covers with panels of lozenge cut decoration, above wyvern sweeping panels finished with leaf terminals. The vases with rising leaves, emerging from likewise sweeping wyvern panels, finished to the bottoms with lozenge cut cups, as per the covers. The vases resting on square stepped plinths, spreading in a concave profile to the foot rim. The undersides of the plinths with star burst centres. Height 12 1/2 inches, 32cm.
