SET OF EIGHT 19TH C CHAMPAGNE BOATS

A Set of Eight 19th Century Champagne Boats, Glasses. Each with a rounded bowl, decorated with an upper band of slice cut ovals, with an alternating lower band of slightly smaller ovals. The bowls flowing into facet cut hollow stems, finished with rounded socles, and thence the circular foot, the undersides with pontils. Date circa 1870. Height 5 inches, 13cm. Diameter 3 1/2 inches, 9cm.
