A Late 18th Century Gilt Mirror. The mirror with an attractive pediment in the form of a pair of turtle doves, beside their open cage. The scene emblematic of love, with a pair of crossed arrows, surrounded by a laurel crown, and spreading leaves. The ribbon decorated frame, banded by flat facings, surrounding the inner beaded edge, enclosing the original plate. The sides of the frame decorated with hanging pendant leaves, and finished to the bottom with fluted brackets. Complete with wood boarded back. Height 44 inches, 112cm. Width 24 inches, 61cm. Depth 3 inches, 8cm. Date circa 1790.
