19TH C DRESSING MIRROR

A 19th Century Dressing Mirror. The mirror with a rounded brass edge following the shape of the arched top, flowing to waisted sides, and a flat lower edge. The body laid with tortoise shell, edged with a rounded and concave brass slip holding the original plate. The rear with a lyre shaped easel rest. Date circa 1870. Height 17 inches, 43cm. Width 13 1/4 inches, 34cm. Depth 3/4 inch, 2cm.
