A 19th Century Gilt Mirror. The mirror with a pediment of a bird feeding her chicks in a nest, the scene surrounded by a laurel crown, and entwined leaves and foliage. The top corners of the frame with tasseled drops, the lower corners with reeded and swept brackets, the whole raised on pine cone feet. The stepped frame with a beaded slip holding the plate, complete with original back boards. Date circa 1830. Height 39 inches, 97cm. Width 22 inches, 56cm. Depth 1 1/2 inches, 4cm.Ref: 22873
