An Early 19th Century Gilt Wood Girondel Wall Mirror.

The top with a folding leaf and sweeping surmount, enclosing a small plate with an engraved basket of flowers.  The main body with an arch top frame, decorated with leaf and flower work, tapering inward and downward, to the arcaded bottom, decorated with a pierced and swept scroll panel, centred by a mask.  The plate etched with a scene of  a classical maiden, standing beside a tree, taking shade for a draped canopy.
