A 19th C Venetian red lacquer and gilt decorated wall mirror, the cartouche shaped plate held within a conforming rounded profile frame, the red lacquer enhanced with chinnoiserie decoration of two figures, flowers and leaves, the corners with petal latticing.  The outer edges with carved gilt wood decoration, the top with a scrolled cartouche, sides with swept rococco leaves, and the bottom with a smiling face against a leaf scrolled background.

Great colour, highly decorative!
