A Mid 19th Century Watercolour of a Family in their Drawing Room. The father stands holding a newspaper as he leans on a chimney piece, whilst two daughters stand, one by a long curtained window, the younger by a chair and classical vase. The mother sits on a chaise longue beside her youngest daughter, who holds her doll. The whole in a glazed birds eye maple frame with gilt slips. Date circa 1860. Height 22 3/4 inches, 60cm. Width 27 inches, 69cm. Depth 1 1/2 inches, 4cm.
