EARLY 19TH C GILT CONVEX MIRROR

An Early 19th Century Gilt Convex Mirror. The frame with concave return sides, fronted by a rounded reeded outer rim gathered with leaves to each quarter. The deep inner edge filled with corvette balls, finished to the inner rim with a stiff leaf band. The original convex plate held within an ebonized reeded slip. Date c 1830. Diameter 26 1/2 inches, depth 3 1/4 inches.
