An Early 19th Century Walnut Mirror. The pediment with rounded and scrolled ends, sweeping upward to an arcaded centre. The frame with inward chamfer and inlaid to the top with a pair of cherubs, holding a garland from which hangs a basket of flowers. The sides and lower panel inlaid with rising and spreading flowers. Finished to the inner edges with line inlays centred by chequered tablets. The original plate with an attractive worn silvering. Complete with original panel back. Date circa 1820. Height 33 1/2 inches, 85cm. Width 22 3/4 inches, 58cm. Depth 2 1/2 inches, 6cm.Ref: 23847
