A Regency Gilt Overmantle Mirror. The mirror with a concave profile cornice, with turret corners, above tablets mounted with flower and petal paterae. The frieze decorated with a horizontal column, gathered within rope twists and rings, to the centre and ends, from which flowers and leaves spread. The theme repeated to the vertical columns, flanking the triple plate, held within reeded ebonized slips. The mirror finished to the bottom with tablet plinths joined by a stepped and concave moulding. The whole raised up on a pair of brass ball feet. Complete with orignal plates and wood back boards. Date circa 1830. Height 26 inches, 66cm. Width 55 inches, 139cm. Depth 4 3/4 inches, 12cm.
