18TH C FLINTLOCK PISTOL

An 18th Century Flintlock Pistol. The steel barrel with a raised rounded muzzle, the barrel tapering outward toward the flint lock mechanism. The mechanism with scrolled floral decoration, engraved for the maker ' W. GUY'. The whole with a walnut stock, inset with a vacant cartouche. Height 4 inches, width 7 1/2 inches, depth 3/4 inch. Date c 1770.
