A Late 18th Century Flintlock Pistol. The pistol with a circular barrel, fronting the flintlock mechanism. The house engraved for the maker 'S BRUMMITT, NOTTINGHAM' set amongst sun bursts, flowers, leaves and birds. The mechanism with a slide safety. the trigger guard with a star burst decoration before the ebony grip. Date circa 1780. Height 4 inches, 10cm. Width 6 1/4 inches, 16cm.
