18TH C GILT FIGURE

An 18th Century Carved Limewood and Gilt Figure. The figure of a saint, she stands in long flowing robes, holding a child in her arms. The figure on a continuous plinth, with an arcaded frieze, above a stepped and concave mould foot. Date circa 1750. Height 10 1/4 inches, 26cm. Width 5 1/2 inches, 14cm. Depth 3 1/4 inches, 8cm.
