An 18th Century fruitwood mortar and pestel, the pestel with a ring and shaped handle, to a spreading grinding end. The mortar of rounded cylindrical form, with a lower sloped mould, waisted socle, and ring-decorated foot.

Height 7 3/4 inches, diameter 6 inches.
