19TH C BRASS DOOR PORTER

A 19th Century Brass Door Porter. The door porter with a rope twist, and tasseled loop handle, above the rope twists shank, finished with a waisted socle, above the stepped bell shaped base, decorated with rope twist banding. The rear with conforming cast iron loading. Height 16 1/2 inches, 42cm. Width 6 inches, 15cm. Depth 3 inches, 8cm. Date circa 1850.
