19TH C CAST IRON DOOR PORTER

A 19th century cast iron door stop, door porter, the body cast with a lion emerging from rising bull rushes, his tail sweeping up and curling over to form a handle. He rests on a rectangular re-entrant cornered plinth with concave mould edge, over which his paws rest.

H 11 1/2 inches; w 6 1/2 inches; d 3 1/2 inches.
