A 19th Century Cast Iron Stick Stand. The stick stand with a pair of oval stick holders, fronting the tall stem, decorated in the form of rising bull rushes, and seaweed topped by a seaweed loop handle. The conch shell lift out base supported by a pair of dolphins, their rising tails sweeping behind the conch shell toward the seaweed and bull rushes. Date circa 1850. Height 30 inches, 76cm.
