19TH C LEATHER BUCKET

A 19th Century Boiled Leather Bucket. The leather loop handle, fixed through a pair of rings to the steel riveted rim, the leather body tapering to a recessed foot rim. The base and vertical joint with rivets. The bucket painted 'W' and 'B'. Date circa 1850. Height 14 inches, 36cm. Diameter 11 1/2 inches, 30cm.
