19TH C MAHOGANY PLANTER

A 19th Century Oval Mahogany Planter or Bowl. With a rounded rim, surrounding the inward and downward tapering sides. The body held with two broad brass bands, and either end mounted with substantial brass carrying handles. Date c 1850. Height 7 3/4 inches, 19.5cm. Width 17 inches, 43cm. Depth 13 inches, 33cm.
