19TH C SCOTTISH BOWL & COVER

A 19th Century Scottish Bowl and Cover. With a ringed ball finial, above the domed cover, with bands of walnut and ebony, around the sycamore bowl. The cover fitting over the rounded bowl, likewise with bands of ebony and walnut around the sycamore body, tapering to a waisted foot. Date circa 1850. Height 7 inches, 17.5cm. Diameter 6 1/2 inches, 16.5cm.
