A 19th Century Silver & Glass Hip Flask. The hip flask with a round lid, opening on a hinged collar, and secured by a rotating bayonet catch. The glass body of oval for, with one side inward curved to sit snugly in one pocket. The lower half of the body fitted with a slide off cup, with a rounded rim. The cup conforming to the shape of the body. The hip flask hallmarked for Howard Osborn Marples, Chester 1897. Height 5 inches, 13cm. Width 3 inches, 7cm. Depth 1 1/4 inches, 3cm.
