19TH C THREE DRAW TELESCOPE

A 19th Century Three Draw Telescope. The telescope with an eye piece fitted with a slide cover, fronting the three draws, the first engraved for the maker 'J J Messer, Gravesend'. The draws within a brass collared mahogany barrel. The objective end with a slide on cover. Date circa 1850. Diameter 2 inches, 5cm. Length 30 inches, 76cm open, 9 1/2 inches, 24cm closed.
