Early 18th C Cup

A George II Lignum Vitae Goblet and Cover in remarkable condition, the goblet with a large cup shaped body standing on a crisply turned shaped and waisted stem, and spreading ogee circular foot. The slightly domed cover with good ring turning and shaping, and complete with a ring and button finial. An outstanding piece.

H: 11" Diameter: 5" Excellent colour and patination.
