An Early 19th Century Flintlock Pistol. The pistol with a brass barrel and action housing, the housing engraved for the maker 'ALLEN' within a leaf and petal reserve. The flint lock action working on 2 stages, and releasing the flush trigger on cocking. The pistol with a walnut rounded handle. The barrel proof marked twice. Height 4 1/4 inches, 11cm. Width 6 1/4 inches, 16cm. Depth 3/4 inch, 2cm. Date circa 1830.
