A George III Silver Mounted Coconut Cup. The eighteenth century cup with a silver mounted rim, above the rounded and tapering body. The body decorated with horizontal and hatched bands to the upper cup, above the body decorated with re-entrant diamonds, against circular back grounds. The cup resting on a petal topped, waisted and ringed stem, spreading to the walnut ringed foot, enclosed within a square silver rim. Height 5 1/2 inches, 14cm. Width 2 1/2 inches, 6.5cm. Depth 2 1/2 inches, 6.5cm. Date c 1790.Ref: 21664
